This project started as part of a university competition with a clear and exciting challenge: to design a poster for a Portuguese film that could visually stand alongside Hollywood thrillers of the same genre. My concept won the competition, and that opened the door to collaborate directly with the film’s production team.
Working closely with them, I refined the original idea into the final artwork shown here. The poster was printed and distributed nationwide, and later adapted for the film’s DVD packaging — a small but meaningful milestone early in my career.
“A Teia de Gelo” premiered in 2012, directed and written by Nicolau Breyner and featuring a cast that included Diogo Morgado, Margarida Marinho, Paula Lobo Antunes, Elisa Lisboa, Patrícia Tavares, Nuno Melo, and Sandra Cóias.
